There are two type of rear spring U bolts for the Standard 8, 10 and Pennant range of cars.

• 3 leaf rear spring fitted to the Saloon cars use a short U bolt
• 5 leaf rear spring fitted to the Companion and 10 Commercial variants use a long U bolt

Lotus 7s use the long U bolt
