TERMS & CONDITIONS ABC

AVAILABILITY - All items are held in stock - however we cannot guarantee to be able to restock promptly during peak periods due to supply chain issues.  We therefore strongly recommend owners plan well in advance.  Exclusive items are manufactured in small batches and usually sold close to cost price.  They are unlikely to be available again once sold out - so buy whilst you can!

CREDIT CARDS - We accept Visa, Delta, Switch and Mastercard on mail order or telephone orders, subject to conditions.

DAMAGED OR FAULTY GOODS - Please contact us by email as soon as possible to discuss any problems.  We inspect all goods very carefully before despatch and do our best to ensure that they arrive in the best possible condition. Goods are not sold with any warranty but this does not affect your statutory rights.

DELIVERY CHARGES - Mainland UK delivery is INCLUDED in the price subject to a minimum order of £35.  Delivery for small orders is £3.95  Extra charges may apply for the Highlands, Islands and Northern Ireland.  We do our very best to keep charges reasonable and will ship anywhere in the World, please contact us to enquire prior to ordering.  We need to pack and weigh your order before we can give you a confirmed cost for postage overseas - see the Delivery and Shipping page for a guide to overseas delivery costs.

DESCRIPTIONS We make every effort to describe parts accurately.  If you feel that a part description is not clear or is a misrepresentation, please advise us so that we may amend the description

DESPATCH - We aim to despatch UK orders within 48 hours, although this can slip during peak periods.  If you can place an order, we have the items in stock.  If there will be a delay for any reason, we will contact you to let you know.  When your order is despatched you will be sent a tracking number - the tracking number lets you see where you order is in the postal system and whether you have missed an attempted delivery.    

EXCHANGE ITEMS - Exchange items are supplied on a new for old basis.  You will need to return the part that you have removed from your car.  We charge a deposit which will be fully refunded when the old part is returned to us in a serviceable condition.

LIABILITY - We accept liability only for items which are proved faulty by reason of our negligence. Such liability is limited to the price paid for the item and does not include any consequential loss.

MADE TO ORDER GOODS - We are proud to support British industry.  All our bespoke parts are made in the UK.  Please allow 3 weeks for receipt of items made to order.  Please also be aware that our suppliers may shut down for holidays and your order may take longer to fulfil at certain times of the year.

MISSING GOODS - Please advise us within 28 days of placing your order of non delivery of parts or any discrepancies.

OVERSEAS ORDERS - We accept international orders.  Please note that if you are buying from overseas you may have to pay additional import duties and taxes.  We cannot advise you what charges may apply in your own country and advise you to check locally before purchase. All international orders placed exceeding £100 must be despatched by insured post.  Your postage quotation will include the cost of insurance.  Please note that some items may not be despatched through international mail.  Any order placed for a part prohibited by international postage regulations will be refunded. 

You are responsible for ensuring that you do not place orders for goods prohibited from import into the Country of Destination.  We cannot accept liability for losses suffered through the confiscation of goods by Customs.

OVERSEAS DELIVERY - All prices quoted for overseas delivery are approximate and subject to confirmation.  In the event that we have overcharged for international postage we will refund any excess exceeding £5 after despatch of your order.

Wherever possible goods are split into separate parcels of 2kg and sent by airmail.  This is the most cost effective method of despatch.  We expect you to receive your order within 3 weeks (for stock items). 

A specialist quote will be required for goods weighing over 2kg or longer than 1 metre.  Costs are dependent on the weight and the dimensions of your order and are difficult to confirm accurately before your order has been packed. We reserve the right to refuse International Orders at our discretion                         

PART NUMBERS - The use of original numbers does not indicate supply of original parts.  Some parts are pattern/remanufactured parts and are described as such.  Many are made exclusively for us and unavailable elsewhere.  The quality is always matching or superior to the original part and something that we would fit to our own classic cars.  It is the purchaser's responsibility to ensure that they are ordering the correct part for their car and to check that parts supplied are suitable for the vehicle and its intended use.  The supplier gives no warranty express or implied of suitability.

PRICES - All prices are shown in £ UK Sterling (GBP).  We make every effort to keep prices as up to date as possible; however, we reserve the right change prices without notice and to refuse an order.   

RETURNS/REFUNDS- we will accept returns of stock items within 7 days of receipt for a full refund.  This does not affect your statutory rights.  We regret we are not able to accept returns of items made to order.  Refunds of postage will only be made for faulty parts or incorrect orders.   We advise you to obtain a certificate of posting when returning your goods for a refund.

RIGHT TO CANCEL - (Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Directive 97/7/EC). The right to cancel allows you time to examine the goods. The cooling off period ends 7 working days after the day the goods are received - this is the delivery date as advised by the courier. The right to cancel does not apply to materials which have been cut off rolls or any item made to order.

When customers exercise the right to cancel they have a duty to take reasonable care of the goods and to return them to us in the condition they were supplied.  Postage costs are the responsibility of the customer.  We advise you to obtain a certificate of posting as we cannot be responsible for lost items.

Order cancellations must be submitted to us in writing - email or letter.

SUITABILITY OF PARTS - All parts are supplied in good faith and in the belief that the application is as described. If for any reason the parts are not suitable for the application, parts may be returned under the right to cancel, or under our own terms and conditions for returns and refunds, as detailed above.  We may accept a return after this period for a part exchange, refund or credit note at our discretion, please contact us to discuss.

TAXES - VAT is not added to our prices as we are not registered for VAT.  If you are buying from overseas you may have to pay additional import duties and taxes.  We cannot advise you what charges may apply in your own country and advise you to check locally before purchase.
